Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

  • Seasoned individual with 5-8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain / Material Planning / Electronics Manufacturing.
  • College degree in supply chain management, business management or related field. (nice to have)
  • Strong hands on knowledge and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, MS NAVISION and Oracle
  • In-depth knowledge of the Electronics Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with strong logic and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task activities, set priorities, and adhere to schedules in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, capacity management).
  • Well versed in information technology applications (MS Office applications).
  • Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic processes, CM relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems.

Buyer II

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Own purchasing and planning activities for assigned commodities and/or product lines
  • Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring alignment with production schedules and demand signals
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules; proactively mitigate risks and shortages
  • Support material planning for production and NPI builds, including prototype and low-volume programs
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure timely material availability for builds and tests
  • Maintain and update ERP system data (lead times and planning parameters as needed)
  • Execute MRP signals and act on planned orders, reschedules, and cancellations
  • Track inventory levels and support cycle counts, excess/obsolete mitigation, and inventory optimization
  • Assist in supplier communications including RFQs, order confirmations, and delivery follow-ups
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement and planning processes and tools
  • Help identify long-lead items and drive early procurement strategies for NPI programs

  • High School or equivalent, bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable
  • 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or material planning
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic data analysis)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting NPI or prototype builds
  • Familiarity with PCBAs, electromechanical assemblies, or complex hardware systems
  • Excellent English communication skills.
